Polar Bear Plunge, AttagurlRex and Pimphand at Chances R, and Foxburg…

If you’re looking for a great way to start the new year, come to Parker and Foxburg on New Year’s Day.

The Polar Bear Plunge will be at the Parker City boat Ramp next to Parkers Landing Canoe, Kayak and Outfitter. Registration starts at noon and the plunge is at 2:00. Cost is $10.00 per participant and includes a t-shirt.

Proceeds benefit Hunt of a Lifetime/Camo Cares, Leadership Butler County(helping underprivileged children of Butler County and surrounding areas), and Parker City Fire Department.

After the plunge, stop at the Chances R bar for free Chili and Hot Chocolate and catch AttagurlRex. The first 300 people get a free t-shirt.

Then it’s off to Foxburg for a hot shower and a change of clothes at the Foxburg Inn Hotel. Next door the Foxburg Pizza has some great pizza, subs and beer.

Later head back down to the Chances R Bar in Parker for an long, great evening fun with the band, Pimphand.

And finally wrap up the night with a good night’s sleep at our hotel and a hearty breakfast in the morning at the Foxburg Pizza and Country Store.
