The Moving of the Caboose
Foxburg: There is a different look in downtown Foxburg. The Red Caboose a reminder of Foxburg’s rail history has been moved from its familiar parking lot location to a new location closer to the starting point of Allegheny Valley Rails to Trails bike trail heading south towards Parker. The moving of the Caboose is all part of a Trailhead enhancement project, in part funded by the state of Pennsylvania’s Greenways Block Grant Program. The project includes a new map and information kiosk, landscaping, signage, lighting, benches and bike racks.
