The Allegheny Grille will be serving a Thanksgiving Day Buffet on Thursday, November 22, 2012 from noon to 4:00pm. They regret that they cannot accept walk ins so make your reservation today. Fall is here in Foxburg!! The temperatures have dropped and the leaves are starting to change colors. Foxburg is even more beautiful in the crisp autumn air, and we don’t slow down either. There is still plenty to do on the weekends and during the week. Foxburg Segway and River Tours will remain in operation until the weather no longer permits (ice and snow). Foxburg Wine Cellars offers free wine tasting and they have over 30 varieties of Pennsylvania wines. Stop on in to Divani Chocolate and get a hot latte to warm up with. The Foxburg Inn has gorgeous suites that include a fireplace to cuddle up in front of or just add ambiance to the scenery and fantastic views. Grab a bowl of hot soup and some breadsticks for lunch at Foxburg Pizza, they offer a different soup of the day each day. Join the Allegheny Grille as they host another Comedy Night on October 5, 2012. Dinner is at 6:30pm and includes a prime rib carving station and the show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets for the show are $35.00 per person in advance and $40.00 per person the day of the show. The Comedy Show features Trina Hess, Todd McCune and Auggie Cook.

Foxburg’s 9th annual Fall, Food and Wine Festival will be Sunday October 7, 2012 starting at 11:00am and wrapping up around 6:00pm. There will be artisans, crafters, musician, food, Oktoberfest beer and German cuisine. We will also have kids’ entertainment, a Chinese auction, raffles and much more. Don’t miss out on all this food, fun and music, there will be something for everyone! Admission is free. July 21, 2012 will be the fourth annual “Chris Smith in July”. This will be held at 4459 Scrubgrass Rd. in Grove City, PA. This is to honor to a young man who was taken from us too soon. Chris was my neighbor growing up. I will always remember riding bikes and playing basketball in our back alley. He was a great kid that grew into an honorable young man who was proud to serve our country and our freedom.More
Baby Charlee is the daughter of Jay Gilgio of Emlenton and Liz Hawk of Barkeyville. Charlee was born on May 8, 2012 and was transported by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh due to heart and lung abnormalities. Her parents have not been able to take her home yet. Charlee has had at least one heart surgery and her mother has been suspended from her job because she is always at the hospital with Charlee.
