Small Winter Weddings can be beautiful, fun, and economical

Wedding: Michele & VitoSummer weddings attract a lot of attention, but between 25% to 33% of weddings are held from November through March. Many destinations in the snowbelt have been hosting Winter Weddings for many years.

If you’re thinking of having a winter wedding, you’ll find many websites with useful information to help you plan your special day duringĀ  the Winter months. Here are a few links to get you started:

Last year in Foxburg we hosted six beautiful winter weddings. They included ceremonies in Lincoln Hall, The Allegheny Grille and local churches.

Unlike a windy, rainy Spring or Summer day, snow can provide a beautiful atmosphere both outdoors and indoors. If you’re athletic, the bike trail can be used for Country Skiing, hiking, making snowmen or having snowball battles. If the weather is not too cold, an outdoor reception is not out of the question. With proper conditions Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides may be provided by the folks from RiverStone Farm.

During the past several months we’ve also hosted quite a few weekday small weddings.

If you’re looking to have a different beautiful, economical wedding, consider a winter wedding. Along with the Allegheny Grille and Foxburg Wine Cellar, we can help you make your Winter Wedding a wonderful experience.
