Sigrid Piroch Exhibit – Textile Artist

April 14 – May 12   Exhibit of Textile Artist, SIGRID PIROCH, at the Red Brick  

Her Life’s Work As A Tapestry   

The Red Brick Gallery and Shop, Artisans Cooperative, opened its third year with the unique exhibit of the textile works of Sigrid Piroch, of Foxburg and Emlenton, who has become a world recognized master weaver.  Sigrid is a committed artist with a wide range of fiber skills, with a love of beautiful fabric and a commitment to the preservation of our textile heritage. The Upstairs Gallery in the Red Brick was transformed with her marvelous and intricate wall hangings and textures, definitely a show to see and carefully touch.   It was a wonderful way to celebrate the Allegheny River Valley’s living heritage through the works of this amazing weaver artisan.

The Sigrid Piroch Textile exhibit ran from Sunday, April 14th through Sunday, May 12th.  The Red Brick opened on Sunday, April 14th with a tribute reception from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with the opportunity to meet an visit with Sigrid.

Fridays 4:00 – 8:00 PM     Saturdays 12:00 – 8:00 PM    Sundays 1:00 – 6:00 PM
