Summer is dwindling away, schools are back in session and our regular wedding season is also coming to an end. There are a few, however who prefer a fall wedding with the beautiful decor of the northwestern Pennsylvania foliage. To take that one step further, I have discovered that some love the idea of incorporating a popular fall holiday with their nuptials. An October wedding? How about a Halloween themed wedding? I was afraid of not finding enough information on the subject but my fears were quickly laid to rest. There are many sites with ideas from the dress (costume style or just Halloween colors), cakes, decor, and much more.

Imagine seeing your bride walking down the aisle as The Bride of Frankenstein.  Or seeing your groom waiting for you in his very best Count Dracula attire complete with blood dripping down his fangs. Your guests will dine on finger food (literally) while waiting for the main course.

You could tone it down a bit and just use some traditional Halloween colors in your wedding. Purple and orange bridesmaids dresses? Perhaps orange and black accents on the groomsman’s tuxedos.
