Chainsaw carver, Brenda Lehman will be doing demonstrations and her work will be available for purchase at the Maple Syrup Festival. Yeany’s Maple is a family owned and operated maple producer located in downtown Marienville. In operation for 9 years now, they produce on average 1,000 gallons of syrup each year. Mr. Yeany tapped over 700 trees at the Riverstone Estate this year, and produced the syrup for the Maple Syrup Festival. The Foxburg Maple Syrup Festival and Yeany’s Maple introduce The Maple Creamy. This delicious frosty treat is made with fresh maple syrup and soft serve ice cream. This is just one of the many maple flavored treats you will find at the festival. Others include maple sugar, maple covered nuts, maple cream, maple candies, maple flavored cotton candy and shaved ice.
Watch how maple sugar and maple candies are made at The Allegheny Grille on the festival day. There will also be a maple cream making demonstration at Divani Chocolatier.

Seneca Rocks Audubon Society, Allegheny Riverstone Center for the Arts, and The Foxburg Inn Hotel are sponsoring a Birdfest on May 5 – 6. May 5 will be in Foxburg at the Riverstone Estate, followed by dinner and presentations at the Allegheny Grille.
Birders will also have the opportunity to go on an Owl Prowl Saturday night at Riverstone.
Sunday May 6 the Bird Walk takes place at Mount Zion/Piney Tract home to many rare grassland species.
