Foxburg is the place to be this summer, with lots of activities and entertainment you don’t want to miss out on. So if you are planning a trip to Foxburg this summer, don’t forget to save the Dates.

What could be better than listening to a Steinway Grand Piano live on a Sunday afternoon? How about dual Steinways in concert, as Allegheny Riverstone Center for the Arts presents a Dual Piano concert featuring David Allen Wehr and Cynthia Raim? These two pianists take the stage at Lincoln Hall in Foxburg on June 24, 2012.  The music starts at 2:00pm and tickets are $25.00 for adults, $20.00 for ARCA members and $10.00 for students. For those of you who appreciate the local talent our region has to offer the Foxburg Wine Cellars hosts live entertainment every Saturday and Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Schedule of entertainers are as follows:  June 16th Max Schang and Rae Hanna, June 17thDon Schiebel, June 23- Tim Lionelli, June 24- Richard Eustice and June30- The Educators.  Come on out and enjoy the sun, live music and festive atmosphere all while sipping on your favorite wine. Don’t know which wine is your favorite yet? No worries, they offer free wine tasting and with about 30 to choose from, you will surely find one you like.

Looking for some entertainment during the week? The Allegheny Grille features local artists The two of us and The Ryver Nymphs on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The dates for the Two of us are: June 15(open mic night also) June 26, July 10, July 13(open mic night also) and July 24. The dates for the Ryver Nymphs are June 19, July 3, 17 and 31. Enjoy a steak and a glass of wine or a beer with some munchies while listening to these performers rock the house.

ARCA is holding a house tour of the Riverstone Estate, located at the confluence of the Allegheny and Clarion Rivers, on July 14, 2012. Gates open at 11:00am and the event lasts until 6:00pm. The original mansion was built from sandstone from the property and was completed in 1828. It was owned by the prominent Fox Family and was known as the Fox Farm. You will tour the house and the grounds. Tickets are $75.00 per person and include food, a pig roast from 2:00-5:00, live music, local artists, vintage cars, historic gun collection carriage rides and a Chinese auction.
